Cumberland County Court House Clock Tower

The clock tower of the Cumberland County Court House in Toledo, Illinois. The county got its name for the Cumberland road, derived its name from the town Cumberland, Maryland, which derived its name from the mountain range of the same name adopted, presumably, from the Cumberland mountains of Great Britain.

This reminds me of “To Kill a Mockingbird”….Has that feel of the Old South, and a hope that justice might just prevail.
